A talented young trio emerges: Simon Harker formed a classical duo with James Fortune in early 2019—developing a large and varied program of 16th to 21st century works—and they are now joined by Margie Iddison, formerly with Opera Australia Orchestra.
As part of their program, the trio will be performing a World Premiere composition, ‘Hark’ by Wesley Stormer, who often takes inspiration from the motifs and rich harmony of early 20th century French music. One of his orchestral works has been performed on the west coast of the USA and another piece is a finalist in a competition which will be played in America later this year by North State Symphony.
