WHAT...WHERE...WHEN...
WHAT: WORKING BEE at the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens
Come and join the happy 'MonVols'* who help spruce up the Gardens, ready for the peak Rhododendron flowering time, in October.
*MonVols—locally indigenous gardening persons, found only at the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens, usually helping on Mondays, but more often at flowering times.
WHERE: 1 Bacchante Street, Blackheath
WHEN: 2020 TBA, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Morning tea provided - BYO lunch
What To Bring
CLOTHING: Working clothes and comfortable shoes, Gardening Gloves. A hat if it's a sunny day.
TOOLS: Secateurs, and any other light tools to possibly saw or dig and, a wheelbarrow if you wish. Please put your name and phone number on everything. (No chainsaws or other electrical or petrol-driven equipment)
PARKING: There is parking inside the Gardens, but if full there's parking outside, to the right of the gate.
LUNCH: Please bring your own lunch (and a container to take away any rubbish).
WEATHER: If misty or raining softly, we will be working. For any other inclement weather conditions, we will update you the day before.
WHAT ELSE: Eagerness and your sense of fun. 🙂
