Our vision

The Blue Mountains Rhododendron Society of NSW was formed in the late 1960s. Our vision was to establish and maintain a garden for rhododendrons and azaleas and other exotics in a natural bushland setting, to the benefit of our members as well as the general public.

Known as the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens, the 18.3 hectares of Crown Land displays a vast range of native plants, ornamental trees and shrubs and are maintained by a volunteer management committee and a team of volunteers with various roles to ensure the garden is always looking its best and is safe for visitors.

Funding is reliant on entry donations and our fundraising activities, the major one being Spring Welcome Weeks when our Rhododendrons are looking their best and our Tea Rooms are open for Aussie Cream Teas.
