Regulations
Campbell Rhododendron Gardens has a few regulations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors.
NOTE: Occasionally space is reserved for weddings or other ceremonies. Please keep a lookout for any related signage and be respectful of others in the Garden.
Filming and Photography
The flying of drones, model planes or kites is strictly prohibited in the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens.
Animals in the Garden
Dogs are welcome provided they are on a lead at all times by order of the Crown Land Management Act 2016 94(1)(B). This is to help protect our wildlife.
Camping
Camping is prohibited in the Gardens and the overflow carpark near the Entrance Gates.
Disposal of Waste
Visitors are not permitted to bring any waste into the Garden or leave litter other than in the waste bins provided.
Recreational activities
Visitors are not permitted to:
swim, wash in the lake or drink water from the lake or other water source in the Gardens
light any fire - ie candles or any naked flame
operate a public address system or loudspeaker or play loud music likely to cause annoyance.
push cricket stumps or tent pegs into the ground
Care of the Garden
Visitors are not permitted to:
damage the grassed areas
remove any flowers, plant material, timber, rock or soil
climb any tree
Interfere or destroy any animal or their habitat
Vehicles
Visitors are not permitted to drive any vehicle through the Gardens contrary to any sign.
Lost Property
The Blue Mountains Rhododendron Society of NSW Inc cannot take responsibility for any lost property belonging to you and/or your visitors /guests. Any items left behind will be held for 6 weeks. After this time they will be donated to charity or disposed of. If we are required to return any found items to you this will incur a postal charge.
Liability
Persons enter Campbell Rhododendron Gardens at their own risk.
The Blue Mountains Rhododendron Society of NSW Inc are not liable for any injury suffered by you or other persons hired or invited by you to the Property, and arising from participation in any activities on the Property.
You or any other person directly or indirectly associated with you, indemnifies the Blue Mountains Rhododendron Society of NSW Inc against any claims, losses—personal property being lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed—costs and expenses, personal injury, death or permanent disability, arising from your use of the Property.
The Lodge
The Lodge is open for Coach Tour Bus guests for tea during our Spring Welcome Weeks, if you have made a group booking. These are 5-6 weeks of the year from early-October to mid-November. Please check for exact dates and book via our website.
During Spring Welcome Weeks the Lodge - Rhodo Tea Room - is open for visitors from Thursday to Sunday for Aussie Cream Tea. For more details visit the Spring Welcome Weeks webpage.
The Lodge is not available at any other time.
